Paul S. Allen
Paul was born in Pantego, NC and graduated from East Carolina University with a Business Degree. Paul spent 3 years in the United States Army and is now known as a Vietnam Veteran. As the years went by working at Weyerhaeuser, he entered into retirement. Mr. Allen is married to Phyllis Allen and they have been blessed with 3 kids, as well as 4 grandchildren. Paul enjoys his time spent with family and fishing.

Jeremy Boyd
Jeremy was born in Washington, NC and attended school in Pinetown. Mr. Boyd spends his time working at Grimesland Plantation as a Farming and Habitat Manager. Jeremy is married to Pam Boyd and they have been blessed with 1 child, Gage Boyd.

John “Fred” Matkins Jr
Fred was born in Washington, NC and attended school in Virginia. Mr. Matkins works for Matkins Trucking and farms, which he has for the last 75 years. He is married to Martha Matkins.
Hebrews 13:17 “Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.”

Will Gautier
Will was born and raised in the Old Ford Community and has been around this congregation all his life. The congregation has shaped his faith, values, and the way he strives to serve others each day. Mr. Gautier works in the commercial construction industry and enjoys contributing to building projects that strengthen the community. Will is married to Jamie Gautier and they have been blessed with 3 children; Avery, Kathryn & Grayson, who keep their family active and continuously show them how good God is. Will loves spending time outdoors and Old Ford is an anchor for his family. He is always thankful for the opportunity he has to grow and serve in this congregation.
Woodson R. Furlough Jr
Woodson was born in Plymouth, NC and his family later moved to Edenton, NC when he was in the 2nd grade. Mr. Furlough met his wife, Teresa Furlough in the 3rd grade and the two began dating in the 11th grade. They both graduated from John A. Holmes high school in 1970. After graduation, he and Teresa got married and were blessed with 3 children; Nicole, Wendy & Woodson Jr. Over the years, they have been blessed with 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild expected in June. Woodson has worked with Winn Dixie, and as a market manager, warehouse manager & materials manager. Back in 2020 Mr. Furlough retired from ECU Health Beaufort hospital. Since retirement, Woodson enjoys working in the yard, being a “fixer upper” around the house & attending is grandchildren’s sporting and special events.
Woodson’s faith in God, his family and fellowship with friends has always been very important to him.

Tommy Harris
Tommy was born in Washington, NC and grew up in the city until he later settled in the Old Ford Community. He has been attending Old Ford Church since back in 1979. Mr. Harris is married to his wife, Marcia Harris and they have been married for the last 30 years. They have been blessed with 3 children; Brant, Jenny & Tres as well as 4 grandchildren. Tommy enjoys his time spent outdoors working in the yard. He and his wife enjoy road trips to the mountains, New England states and the ocean during the quieter off-season times. Mr. Harris enjoys exploring different parts of the United States with Marcia whenever they can find the time to.

James Gruer Latham Jr.
James was born in Bath, NC and attended NC State University where he earned a degree in Turf Grass Management. He took his degree to Slade Landscaping, where he has worked for the last 24 years. Mr. Latham is married to Andrea Latham and has been for the last 14 years. They have been blessed with 2 children; Kaite and Gruer, who both attend Terra Ceia Christian School. James enjoys his time spent with his kids, whether that be attending their school events, sporting games, hunting, or target shooting. The Latham family has been members of Old Ford Church since 2021.

Chuck Hudson
Chuck was born in Washington, NC. Mr. Hudson owns and operates ENECON Solutions as well as Avenue Farms, where he raises corn and soybeans. Chuck is married to Renee Hudson and they are blessed with 3 children; Kimberlyn, Kathryn, & Holly. Over the years, they have been blessed with 3 grandchildren. Mr. Hudson enjoys his time spent hunting, fishing, and being outdoors all together. He is very thankful for any and every opportunity he gets to spend in the outdoors of God’s creation.
